I think it’s weird that mostly only websites partake in April Fools trickery. With the exception of a few humans I’ve talked to today, real people with real faces seem to ignore this day. The internet, however, does not. Google always has something totally clever. This year it was announcing a new gmail feature- predate your mail back as far as you’d like! Hype Machine advertised that they were starting a new glossy magazine about finding new music, with an Amy Winehouse look-alike on the cover dressed like Eve [of Adam and]. I actually really fell for that one, and was honestly searching for a “contact us” link so that I could apply for an internship… …I think it’s time that humans take back April Fools Day. It should be a week long or something. One day a year of prankery is just not enough.
